Devlog 9 Polish sprint week 1 of 2
Here we are again landlubbers, time for a devlog.
This week was our first week of polish and so we all did.
The artist put their time and effort into color grading and making small tweaks to makes the intractable items pop out more.
As you might see we also got a big update on our epic water to really give you the feeling that you're sailing on the high seas.
Lastly they also put some time on some of the particle effects to make them less demanding, this turned the fps back to it's buttersmooth self.
The programmers invested their time in some other business, like fixing the horrendous pickup system.
You never knew what you were gonna pick up, but that time is over. We've implemented item highlighting.
Whatever item is in range and selected for pick up, will be highlighted for you.
They also worked on the physics and managed to remove the floaty feel of the game, so that we may now, not fly into oblivion.
This should be everything.
